Start of term - important Library things

Welcome back.  I hope you had a fantastic relaxing break.  I certainly did.

This is just a reminder about what we can offer you to enhance the student experience and assist with your teaching.

Orientations/Login sessions - remember to book these now.  Use this Jira form to request an orientation and we will confirm that the date and time are available.

Equipment - do you require laptops, PCs (in library), any other equipment??  Book now.  Please email your local library to book.

VR sessions (taypani Clarence Library only) - you can book a session for your class or individuals via this email digilabs.clarence@tastafe.tas.edu.au

3D printing - do you need a prop for your class, can it be 3D printed??  Send a request to your library. Read the guidelines here.

As the industry liaison (Subject Specialist) for Construction and Allied Trades. I can help to identify, source, and make content available to assist staff delivery and each student’s learning.

I will be looking to include print-based and Internet content, such as articles, webinars, and updates from key players within the field, into the Blog. I will also be highlighting our Library Services and how these can assist you.

If you aren't already, please subscribe by entering your email address in the box on the right of the screen and click Subscribe. Once you have added your email address, you will receive a Verification Link to confirm your subscription to the Blog. Every time I add a blog, you will receive a notification. As a teacher, I would also like to add that you are gaining ‘credits’ towards your Teacher Competency and Currency by subscribing to the Blog.  Please let any new staff about the blog and how to subscribe or email me and I can enter their information.

Please email me if you have any queries, requests, or feedback.

I look forward to working with you in 2024.

cheers

Leanne
