Hello there:

Hi my name is Jeremy and I am now responsible for the Agriculture Subject Guide and Blog while Diana is away with another team. I joined the TAFE Library team in March this year from UTAS where I worked for 14 years.

This subject guide and blog is here to assist you with your studies or your teaching, so if there's something that's missing or that you'd like to see included, don't hesitate to contact me or the Library team to have it included. Our contact details are here.

I'll be updating this page and sending out blog posts to keep you updated on any news, events or resources specific to your studies or this subject area. And maybe a little general interest stuff as well!

If you'd like to subscribe to the blog, simply enter your email in the box to the right and you will receive a notification whenever I post. You can unsubscribe at anytime by clicking on the link at the bottom of the email notification.

And don't forget help is always available online, over the phone or in person and the friendly team at any of our libraries can assist you with any questions you might have.

Library Closures over the Holiday Break:

All TasTAFE Libraries will be closed from Monday 20th of December 2021 and will re-open on Monday 10th of January 2022.

If you need Library assistance during this time, please head over to our FAQs or use the Ask the Library button on our website, and we will get back to you as soon as we can.

We'd like to wish everyone a safe and enjoyable break and we look forward to seeing you in 2022! Take care and stay safe.

Teachers:

Are you ready for 2022?

Now's a good time to start thinking about your teaching equipment needs and to get your bookings in for the new year. The Library has laptop trolleys for class use, iPads, staff laptops, projectors, and a wide variety of cords, cables, adaptors and other equipment available for loan so visit or email your local TasTAFE Library and make your bookings today!

Do you need to book a Library Orientation session for your students? Contact your Campus Library to arrange a time for your students to learn all about what the Library has to offer.

Does your course require any resources for 2022? You can use the Library Portal to make resource requests. Just click here, select Libraries, and use the online form. We can also help you out with any copyright questions that might arise while putting together your Canvas course content.

Remember to direct your students to the Library for any login or wifi connection assistance in the new year. We can help students over the counter, but we also have Chat* and Ask The Library functions on our website.

*Chat is available during semester opening hours. To contact the Library outside of these times, please use the 'Ask the Library' button and Library staff will get back to you as soon as possible.
