Welcome all to another blog, this one is all about statistics …. 

 

Hang on, please don't let your eyes glaze over and switch off. Statistics are your friend in Tourism. Statistics help you make decisions about many aspects of tourism businesses from forecasting when you need extra staff for busy periods, where people are going, to what people are spending their money on, and responding to the latest travel or food trend. 

Below are a collection of resources to illuminate these benefits and to get you thinking about how you also can make statistics your friend (horn-rimmed glasses and pocket protector are optional).
