Welcome Back!

The Cookery blog is back in business! 

The Cookery Team will soon be receiving an email update from me about the services and resources that I can provide as the Statewide Library Subject Specialist for Cookery.

I will be aiming to update the blog fortnightly but as I find time-sensitive items I'll be posting those in addition to the regular posts. As times are uncertain I will continue to update you with library news and changes, including new resources, PD opportunities and events. 

Please make sure you have subscribed to the blog and have verified your email address. If you haven't verified you won't receive any email updates. Don't hesitate to get in contact with me if you aren't sure or want to check.  

If you know someone that hasn't seen this blog and it's relevant to their work or study please feel free share it with them, this can include students, tutors and sessional staff. The URL is library.tastafe.tas.edu.au/cookery/blog.

Library Updates 

Semester Break is coming up fast, and opening hours for all the TasTAFE Libraries are on the Semester Break page on the website. Please note that all the TasTAFE Libraries are closed each Wednesday of the break - the 29th of September and the 6th of October. There are also some public holidays coming up in the north of the state, so please check the Semester Break page for details for your campus library. If you need help or to make arrangements for the days the libraries are closed, please get in contact with us.

The Drysdale Library has received a large donation of Cookery books, and almost all of these have been added to the collection and are now ready for loan. Please take a look at the Drysdale Donations page for to see some of the new titles. If you would like to borrow anything, please go to the Drysdale Library, or you can place a hold, and have the items sent to your campus library. Instructions for placing hold are found on the Catalogue Help page.

Library support for you & your students 

As always our Library staff will do their absolute best to answer your questions and provide support to both you and your students. Our live chat service and 'ask the library' support desk is still running Mon-Fri. 

There are many ways to contact us:
